The Scottish Bike Show Sportive 2012

TSBS Sportive News........

Dear all

The inaugural Scottish Bike Show Sportive 2012 will take place on Sunday 15th April around the beautiful scenery of Loch Lomond and Loch Katrine to kick off the start of the sportive season!

We are happy to announce both routes for the sportive have been signed off by the local Loch Lomond authorities. The 65 mile challenge ride and the 100 mile sportive will be available for entry within the next couple of weeks and we promise you will be the first to know when the entry is live.

Your entry to the sportive will also gain you access to one day of The Scottish Bike Show of your choice.

Entry to the challenge ride: £21.00

Entry to the sportive ride: £25.00

*Group booking rates will also be available for 6 or more riders. Full entry details to follow shortly.

With Balloch Castle proposed as the start and finish point, the routes will include timed rides, steep climbs, feed stations, bike maintenance points and plenty more to ensure a great ride.

Fun for the family or the serious sportive rider, why not let your friends and family know about the first ever sportive ride around Loch Lomond and kick off the season with a bang.

The Scottish Bike Show 2012 - We are back!



Dear all
We are back and ready for a bigger and better show for 2012! Over 5,100 attended the show in April and thanks to all the visitors who attended, over £3,000 was raised for The Prostate Cancer Charity.
Next year will bring more brands, more displays, bigger test tracks and plenty more to keep you amused between 13th - 15th April 2012. Check out the new website here
New for 2012, 'the scottish bike show sportive' will take place on Sunday 15th April 2012 in the Loch Lomond area. Although we are still developing the route, there will be a "sportive" ride consisting of approximately 100 miles through beautiful scenery as well as a "challenge" ride which will be approximately 50 miles.
Entry to the sportive will also include entry to one day of your choice at the scottish bike show. More news to follow on this very shortly.




Already confirmed as key sponsor are Alpine Bikes, with Sustrans, Cycling Scotland, Singletrack all confirmed as partners to TSBS 2012. The latest fantastic addition to the growing number of partners comes in the form of Future Publishing.

Pedal Power at The Scottish Bike Show 2011
